RICHMOND, Va. -- A team of volunteers helped make the 34th annual Dominion Energy Christmas Parade an amazing community event that drew thousands of people to Broad Street.
The volunteers, which are part of the non-profit organization Richmond Parade Inc., work diligently all year long to plan for the big day.
Longtime volunteer Dan McNamara heads up the monumental task of float logistics for more than 10 years.
Jessica Noll, CBS 6's Director of Local Programming and executive producer and co-host of "Virginia This Morning," surprised Dan with a $200 gift card for the holidays as a thank you for all his hard work.
