RICHMOND, Va. -- The CBS 6 Month of Giving continues every day through December. CBS 6 team members are surprising folks in the community with random acts of kindness.

Greg McQuade recently surprised Danny Wagstaff, who has picked up the torch for Bill Jones after the 72-year-old died in October.

Jones created the William's Christmas Kids Foundation in 1985 to help provide Christmas presents to underprivileged children.

Since then he provided hundreds of area children with Christmas presents every year and was honored for his efforts on "Heroes Among Us" in November of 2014.

"We have piles and piles of toys for you because I know how much Bill Jones meant to you," McQuade said to Wagstaff. "We want to say good luck and thank you so much for carrying on his tradition."

The CBS 6 Month of Giving is possible due to a partnership with Union Bank and Trust.
