Petersburg man faces murder charge after victim found shot to death in Richmond road

 RICHMOND, Va. — A Petersburg man has been arrested by Richmond Police, in connection with the homicide of Rolando Salas, a Chesterfield resident.

Johnathan P. Moseley, 26, of the 4600 block of Keithwood Drive in Petersburg, was arrested Monday, Dec. 7, and charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

At approximately 9:53 p.m. on Nov. 10, officers responded to the 1400 block of Talbert Drive for a report of shots fired.

They discovered the body of Rolando D. Salas, 30, of the 6900 block of Beulah Oaks Lane in Chesterfield County, lying on the side of the roadway. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Sources indicated at the time of shooting that Salas was killed in a drive-by shooting.
