RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – CBS 6 Storm Team Meteorologist Mike Stone says we will have some breaks for sun during the day, but skies will average out to mostly cloudy for many hours.

An approaching front could cause a few light, scattered showers towards late afternoon and evening. This could be in the form of some snow flakes across northern Virginia. Highs today will range from the lower 40s far north to around 50° far south.

A few sprinkles or flurries are possible through around 2 a.m. overnight. Lows will dip to the upper 20s to around 30° towards daybreak.
