RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – “Yes, it is 4 degrees at 8:30 a.m. It’s our coldest morning so far this winter season,” CBS 6 meteorologist Carrie Rose tweeted Thursday morning.

The good news is, temperatures will rise above freezing by Thursday afternoon.

Thursday will be another mostly sunny and cold day, but highs should make it above freezing in most spots for about three hours this afternoon, which will help with snow-melt. The warm-up will continue into Friday as well, with highs reaching the mid to upper 40s.

yeah amazingly 4 degrees doesn’t feel frigid without any wind. factor in a 10-15 mph NW breeze and now you got sumthin’ to talk about. otherwise, let the sunshine in…

I take special comfort knowing that the global warming nazis are freezing due to their own denial.

Actually, this very site displayed 2 degrees as the temperature at 7:30 this morning! Was that a mistake?
