ENTER TO WIN: Trip to see ‘Steve Harvey’ show in Chicago

Morning rain falling in Richmond, but what’s next?

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Steady, light rain will make the first half of your Tuesday wet.

Make sure your kids have their rain jackets on as they head to school! Recess will probably have to be indoors today, but showers will end from west to east in central Virginia after lunch.

The latest I expect any lingering rain showers in Richmond this afternoon will be 3 p.m. Rainfall totals should range 0.25" to 0.75".

A weak cold front will track through central Virginia this afternoon, but it won't bring in a significantly cooler air-mass.
