RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Today will look and feel pretty much the same as it did yesterday – hazy, hot, with the slim chance for a few isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening hours.
High pressure will slowly migrate back east into the Atlantic as the jet stream sags south back out of Canada. A surface cold front accompanies this right now in the Northern Plains, and that front will finally bring us relief from the high heat by Sunday. It will also increase our rain and storm chances on Sunday afternoon and Monday. Click here to visit the WTVR.com weather page.
