RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - A powerful storm system we have been tracking from the central U.S. will reach us in central Virginia Friday evening from the west, so most of the day Friday will be dry in central and eastern Virginia.

A few mid to late afternoon showers are possible Friday afternoon, but the main line of strong to possibly severe storms will reach the I-95 corridor at about 8-9 p.m.
