WEATHER: Storms on the way

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Clouds will increase across the area tonight with lows ranging from the upper 20s to mid 30s.  

A small storm system will bring some showers on Monday. 

The better chances for rain in the morning will be areas well west of I-95.  Some colder locations closer to the West Virginia border could see a brief period of freezing rain before temperatures climb above 32°. 

Highs will range from around 40° far west & northwest to the lower 50s across far southeast Virginia.We will dry out Monday evening into Monday night.  Lows will drop into the mid 30s. 

Skies will be partly cloudy on Christmas Day with highs in the lower 50s.
