AURORA, Colorado (WTVR) – Dramatic cell phone video has been released from the shooting at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado early Friday morning.
Be advised that some blood and offensive language are present in the video, which was taken from a cell phone by a KDVR-TV viewer at the scene.
In the video, people can be heard crying and trying to make their way out to safety. At one point during the chaotic scene, a man screams that his friend is still inside the theater.
Officials said that at least 12 people were killed after a gunman opened fire inside the theater. Another 38 people were wounded.
