RICHMOND, Va. -- It is becoming a Richmond tradition.

For the second year in a row, CBS 6 is working to make a difference in the lives of those in our community.

The CBS 6 Month of Giving started Monday, November 28, and will continue through December.

Recently Bill Fitzgerald met Keyatta, a child living in Virginia's foster care system. She was profiled in a story Bill reported about older foster children who are still holding out hope to find their forever homes.

During his time with Keyatta, Bill learned she really wanted to take ballet lessons.

So, with the help of our partners at Union Bank and Trust, Bill surprised Keyatta with a gift certificate to Disco Sports, so she could buy ballet attire, and told her she was signed up to take weekly ballet classes at the West End Academy of Dance.
