RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) -- Check out the video above of just some of the over 100 accidents across the metro-area that Virginia State Police responded to Friday.
Authorities said too many people were driving as if road conditions were normal. Police caution drivers must be on the lookout for black ice -- especially on bridges and overpasses.
And black ice was also a concern for Saturday morning as temperatures dipped. CBS 6 Storm Team Meteorologist Mike Goldberg said temps were in the low and mid 20s overnight.
