RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Richmond Police identified the man shot and killed Sunday night on Gordon Avenue in South Richmond as 39-year-old James Earl Porter, of Afton Avenue.
“Detectives have been aggressively pursuing leads since Sunday night and are working to develop suspect information and establish a motive in this homicide,” police spokeswoman Karla Peters wrote in an email.
