One dead, search for killer continues in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Richmond Police are looking for the person who shot and killed a man Sunday night off Jeff Davis Highway in South Richmond.

Police were called to the shooting scene along the 2300 block of Gordon Ave. just after 11:35 p.m. Sunday. Police said the victim was shot in the chest and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Neither the victim’s name nor a description of the suspect has been released.
