2 firefighters hurt battling Wyndham house fire

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Two people are without a place to stay after their home in Henrico's Wyndham neighborhood caught fire Saturday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to a home in the 6000 block of Collinstone Drive around 3 p.m.

When crews arrived, they found heavy fire coming from the home's roof.

Two people inside the home were able to get out safely, officials said.

However, two firefighters suffered minor injuries battling the blaze.

The home has extensive damage to the second floor and roof, officials said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
