RICHMOND, Va. — The Swedish retail giant H&M will open its 20,000 square feet shop in Stony Point Fashion Park on Dec. 7.
The shop will be in the new “Triangle Park” which RichmondBizSense reported was the first phase of a $50 million overhaul by mall owner Starwood Retail Partners.
This is H&M’s third location in the Richmond area, with shops at Short Pump Town Center and Chesterfield Towne Center. The retail chain has more than 4,500 stores globally, with about 500 in the U.S.
Also en route to Stony Point are HPDS Sports, an athletic-wear retailer; Biggs Ltd., a collectibles shop; Hacked, a hair salon; and Sitting Pretty, a dog grooming specialty store.
With the new additions, Stony Point will have 53 tenants.
H & M’s grand opening is from noon to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7. The first 300 shoppers in line can win up to $300.
People who bring in a bag of unwanted clothes before the opening can enter to win a gift card valued up to $250.
