You can add another honor received by Petersburg native Frank Mason. The Kansas guard has his jersey retired at Massanutten Military Academy. He spent the 2012-13 season at the prep school after his plans to Towson changed.
This past season, Mason became the first Kansas player in school history to be a consensus Player of the Year as he swept all five National Player of the Year awards that are recognized by the NCAA.
