RICHMOND, Va. -- Light showers will continue to move into Central Virginia Monday morning.
They will stick around throughout the early afternoon.
A cold front will move into the region Monday afternoon pushing dry air into place.
Highs will top out in the mid/upper 50s.
An extremely cold air mass will arrive for Thursday and Friday.
Daytime highs will only be in the upper 20s and lower 30s with low teens at night.
A weak upper-level disturbance will bring a small chance for a light wintry mix to the area late Wednesday, followed by very cold weather Thursday and Friday.
