Man allegedly breaks into Henrico home, assaults woman he knew

HENRICO, Va. – Police charged a Henrico man with five crimes after they said he broke into a woman’s home around 1:15 a.m. on Dec.3, 2016 and assaulted her.

The assault occurred in the 100 block of Engleside Court.

The victim reported that an acquaintance forced his way into the home, assaulted her and damaged her property.

The investigation into the incident led to Michael Kenneth Sprague being charged with burglary, vandalism, assault, preventing the summoning of law enforcement and possession of stolen property.
