Minivan driver arrested after Colonial Heights bank robbery

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. — A woman in a green minivan who drove a bank robbery suspect away from First Citizens Bank in Colonial Heights has been arrested, according to police.

Robin Rebecca Mason, 61, was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Larceny at a Banking Facility and Accessory After the Fact.

Police are still looking for the man who robbed First Citizens Bank on Snead Avenue on December 1.

The man gave the bank teller a note and never showed a gun.

The robber was described as a black male, wearing a black knit hat, black coat, and tan pants. He is believed to be in his late 20s to early 30s and is approximately 5’5″ to 5’7″ tall and 150-160 lbs.
