Man suffers gunshot wound to leg in Church Hill shooting

RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond Police are investigating a shooting after a man was shot near Chimborazo Park in Church Hill Thursday evening.

Police said the shooting happened at 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of E Grace Street and Government Road.

The male victim was stuck in the leg and transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators have not released any additional information about the shooting or possible suspects at this time.
