RICHMOND, Va. – A Fairfax County man is in police custody after he allegedly set his girlfriend on fire and went on the run.
Investigators say Lewis Edward Reeder was arrested in South Richmond Thursday evening; 12 days after the incident took place.
The victim, Delores Williams, 64, of Alexandria passed away overnight from injuries sustained in the November 19 attack.
Police say they believe an augment between the couple led to Reeder intentionally setting Williams on fire.

Crime insider sources say Reeder was arrested at the Southside Community Health Center just across the street the second precinct police station in South Richmond.
Reeder has been charged with arson and aggravated malicious wounding in the case. Sources say those charges will most likely be upgraded to murder.
Investigators say a tip from a community member led to the apprehension of Reeder.
