Ashland runaway teen found safe

ASHLAND, Va. – A missing Ashland teen has been found safe staying with extended family out of the area, according to the Ashland Police Department.

Tahjaia Corum Hill, 17, went missing from her Ashalnd home on September 28. She was reported as a runaway.

Officials previously said Tahjaja called home on Saturday, Oct. 15, and said she was not under any coercion or duress.

Investigators said despite her history of being a runaway, she is was still considered missing and her family and the Ashland Police Department were concerned with her well-being.

Police have not released any additional information about the teen’s whereabouts at this time.
