Man accused of murdering fiancée in Henrico home

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Police have made an arrest after a woman was found shot to death inside her Henrico County home Wednesday night.

Officers were called to the 6500 block of Engel Road for a shooting at 6:50 p.m.

Officials confirmed Thursday they found Tammy Jo Clifton's body inside the home.

Sources said she was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Those sources also told WTVR CBS 6 reporter Jon Burkett that a man called one of his family members and dropped his kids off with them. The kids then told that family member that their mom was dead.

Police later said William Davis Tiller was arrested and charged in Clifton's murder.

Police said their investigation into the crime is ongoing.
