Man busted for breaking into Hanover homes

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. -- A Bumpass man was arrested and charged with crimes related to two western Hanover home break-ins.

Matthew Ryan Atkinson, 30, was arrested after a November 14 burglary along the 20000 block of Woodland Fox Lane.

"Information was obtained connecting Atkinson to this and another burglary in the 13100 block of Lea Anna Lane," Hanover Sheriff's spokesman Sgt. James Cooper said. "Investigators continue to diligently sort through recovered property and identify additional victims."

Atkinson has been charged with two counts of Breaking and Entering with Intent to commit a felony, two counts of Grand Larceny, and Larceny with Intent to Sell.
