Colonial Heights man killed in weekend crash

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. — Police identified the driver killed in a Saturday morning crash as 37-year-old Timothy A. Devine, of Colonial Heights.

Devine died after he crashed his car on Hamilton Avenue, near Prince Albert Avenue, at about 9:28 a.m. Saturday.

“[Devine] was transported to Southside Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The adult female passenger was transported to VCU Medical Center with serious injuries,” a Colonial Heights Police spokesperson said. “The Colonial Heights Major Accident Investigation Team continues to investigate this crash.”
