HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Police have asked for help finding a hit and run driver in eastern Henrico.

The driver crashed into a moped, then left the October 23 accident scene at Williamsburg Road and Eanes Lane.

“Officers found a moped and its driver laying in the roadway. The driver was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries,” Henrico Police spokesman Lt. The hit and run vehicle was traveling north on Eanes Lane. The moped was headed west on Williamsburg Road, police said.

The crash was reported at about 1:19 a.m.

Anyone with information was asked to call Henrico Police at 804-501-5000 or Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
