RICHMOND, Va - VCU Police are investigating a sex assault that happened inside a campus dorm.
VCU Police sent out an alert about the sexual assault Wednesday night.
The incident happened on Friday, October 28 in a dorm, according to police.
The suspect and the survivor know each other, police said.
Police received the report of sexual assault on Tuesday.
Police did not say on which VCU campus or in which dorm the assault took place.
