Police looking for suspect after shooting in Richmond’s East End

RICHMOND, Va. – Richmond Police are investigating a shooting Thursday evening after a man was shot in the city’s East End.

Investigators said around 7:15 p.m. they received a call for a shooting in the 3300 block of Bunche Place, near Fairfield Ave. and Creighton Rd. When officers arrived to the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The man was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are still looking for a suspect in the shooting and are working with the community for leads.
