Man sees Church Hill robbery going down, steals victim’s pizza too

RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify suspects who robbed an individual of a wallet and pizza last week.

Around 10:25 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, a male was walking in the 800 block of North 25th Street with a pizza box when an unknown male approached him from behind and brandished a handgun. The victim placed the pizza box on the ground as the suspect pulled the victim’s wallet out of a pocket.

A second suspect approached the scene and took the pizza box, walked away and pulled a slice of pizza from the box and started eating it. A third suspect also walked up to the scene at this time.

All three suspects walked from the scene. There were no injuries.

The initial suspect is believed to have gotten on a red mountain bike and taken the victim’s wallet to a nearby convenience store, Ocean Grocery, located at 2438 Venable Street, where he attempted to use a debit card at an ATM.
