The Douglas Freeman Rebels have run out to a 7-0 start for a second straight season after beating J.R. Tucker 34-19 in week 8. Trey Laughlin completed just 8 of his 20 passing attempts, but three of them went for touchdowns to Jack Pollard, who hauled in 81 yards receiving. Kory Cooper added 101 yards on the ground and a score.

Tanner Dobrucky added a 78 yard punt return for the Rebels. Tucker was led by Austin Pytko who had 82 yards rushing.

The Rebels will host Deep Run next week while Tucker (0-7) will visit John Marshall next Saturday.
