Mechanicsville, Va - If the Lee-Davis Confederates want to get back in the 5A South playoffs, they will need to win games like the one they won in week 7, 21-10 over Atlee.
Nate Evans carried 30 times for 192 yards and two touchdowns as the Confederate defense held the Raiders to just 181 yards of total offense. L-D quarterback Zach Lass completed just one of his 6 pass attempts, but it was a 30 yard score to Ned Anthony to give the Confederates a 14-3 second half lead.
Atlee's lone score came on a 22 yard pass from Tyler Warren to John Johnson. Warren threw for 67 yards.
Lee-Davis (5-1) is on the road at Highland Springs next week, and will also face Henrico and Patrick Henry to close out their season. They began the night 7th in the 5A South ratings where the top 8 make the playoffs.
Atlee (2-4) hosts Henrico next week.
