RICHMOND, Va. – The search Keeshae Jacobs continued Wednesday, 10 days after she was last seen late Monday, September 26.

Neighbors say police searched a Church Hill park Wednesday afternoon. It’s an area close to where the 21-year-old was last seen in the 3100 block of East Broad in Church Hill.

By all accounts, Keeshae is very close to her family but now hasn't contacted them for 10 days.

"This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life," said Toni Jacobs at Tuesday news conference, growing increasingly desperate to find her missing daughter.

"All I want is for my baby to come home safely," Jacobs said.

Her mom says she last saw her around 11 p.m. on September 26.

Jacobs says she got a text that read "I will see you tomorrow mom."

Tuesday morning, September 27, Keeshae's phone went dead and hasn't been used since. And there has been no activity on her bank accounts.

"She has tattoos on her right foot, right hand and right arm," said Richmond Police Chief Alfred Durham, as police spread the word that they're looking for the young woman.

Flyers were handed out in a Church Hill neighborhood near Chimborazo Park on Sunday, an area where she was last seen.

"One was in my door and when I came out to walk my dogs, someone handed one to me,” said Norma Villars, who has called East Broad Street her home for nearly three decades.

She says police have been seen going in and out of a home across the street. "I did see the forensic van there Tuesday,” Villars said. “It was parked in the 300 block of 31st. Today I saw it over there again around 11:45."

Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for Keeshae, a young woman-who's never been known to just up and leave her home.

"She can't last 24 hours without talking to me,” said Jacobs.  “It doesn't make sense."

Chief Alfred Durham says they've used a bloodhound from Henrico and searched around Chimborazo Park on foot and with a surveillance plane.

Friday will mark the 11th day since Keeshae's mysterious disappearance.

Jacobs is described as a black female, 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 100 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who sees Keeshae was asked to call Major Crimes Detective William Thompson at 804-646-3925 or Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
