Turkey Cutlets with Spiced Cider sauce
Ingredients:
3 TBS flour
1/2 tsp dried marjoram
1/2 tsp fresh thyme
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 pound turkey cutlets (4)
3 TBS olive oil
Sauce:
1 minced garlic clove
1 cup Apple cider
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 TBS Dijon mustard
1 TBS maple syrup
Directions
Combine flour, thyme, marjoram, salt and pepper in a bowl.
Heat 2 TBS olive oil in a skillet over medium/high heat.
Make sure cutlets are moist use water if necessary and dredge in seasoned flour.
Place in skillet and cook for approximately 2 mins per side, don’t crowd the pan do 2 at a time if necessary. Cook until golden brown. Place cutlets on serving plate and cover.
Add remaining olive olive to pan and sweat the minced garlic, next add apple cider, Dijon, cinnamon and maple syrup bring to a boil and reduce by and half cook approximately 4 mins.
Pour sauce over cutlets and garnish with fresh thyme leaves
