Wizards to hold open practice Friday at Siegel Center

RICHMOND, Va. — The Washington Wizards will hold their first and only open practice in Richmond Friday at Virginia Commonwealth University.

The event is free and open to the public. It will be held at the Siegel Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:00 p.m.


Fans who arrive early will be able to go on the court, have their face painted, meet the Wizard Girls and more. In addition, the first 600 fans in attendance will be invited to participate in a post-practice autograph session and will receive a t-shirt.

The Wizards last training camp practice in Richmond will be held Saturday, October 1. It is not open to the public. The team previously held training camp in Richmond from 2003 thru 2009.
