RICHMOND, Va. – Police are investigating a shooting in Richmond’s Creighton Court that has left a teenage girl with injuries.
Police said an officer was driving near the area when they heard gunshots around 9:15 p.m. The officer responded to the scene in the 2000 block of Creighton Rd., where someone was yelling for help.
A teenage girl was at the location suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. Her injuries have now been upgraded to non-life threatening.
There is no information about a suspect at this time.
