COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. — Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man wanted for an armed gas station robbery in Colonial Heights Monday, August 22.
Investigators said the incident happened at approximately 11:50 p.m. robbery at the Sunoco gas station located at 961 Temple Avenue.
The employee told police that the suspect entered the store and displayed a weapon and demanded money. Once the employee complied with his demands, the suspect fled the scene westbound on Temple Avenue.
No one was injured in the robbery.
The suspect is described as dark skinned black male, around 5’10” to 6’0” tall, with a black moustache and goatee.
He was seen wearing a white shirt, white hat with do-rag, black pants with an unknown design on the back pockets, and multi-colored shoes. The suspect also has a tattoo on his left forearm.
