RICHMOND, Va. – Police are investigating a shooting at a South Richmond apartment complex Tuesday that left one man dead.
Around 4:20 p.m, police said they received a call for shots fired at the Foxwood Apartments, located in the 5000 block of Snead Rd., near Broad Rock Blvd. When officers arrived to the scene, one man was located with a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. He was later identified as Brian M. King, 24, of the 4000 block of Mallard Creek Circle in Chesterfield County.
There is no information about a suspect at this time.
In a separate shooting, one man showed up at a local hospital after being shot on Hull Street. His injuries are considered non-life threatening. Police do not believe the shootings are related.
