RICHMOND, Va. – A Richmond Post Office, located at 3004 North Avenue, has been temporarily closed due to mold in the facility.
A United States Post Office spokesperson says they do not own the building, but the owner is working to fix the issue.
There is no given timetable for the post office to reopen at this time.
There are 143 PO Box customers at the Northside location. Their mail is now at Bellevue Branch at 5327 Chamberlayne Rd. The postal service says that home delivery will not be impacted.
