Police ID man killed in Fredericksburg triple shooting

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -- One man was killed and two others were wounded after a triple shooting at a Fredericksburg apartment complex early Friday morning.

Police have identified the victim as Christopher Williams, 21, of Fredericksburg. Williams died of two apparent gunshot wounds.

Officers responded to reports of a disturbance at the Kendalwood Apartments in the 200 block of Kingsmill Court just after midnight. Police said while in route to the disturbance call someone then called in a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found one man shot to death and two others suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

Police said they are still investigating the incident and several subjects have been identified as being involved in the incident. The level of involvement of each subject is still being determined.

As a part of their investigation, both victims who were wounded were charged with recent crimes.

A felony arrest warrant has been issued for Jamique, 18, of Fredericksburg for a robbery that occurred earlier this week. McAllister remains in the hospital.

Markuis Lucas, 19, of Fredericksburg was released from the hospital and arrested on a felony charge of possession of a stolen firearm. Lucas is currently being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bail.
