MIAMI -- When the judge turned off a Miami man's court microphone, he started twerking to grab the judge's attention.
Calvin Lloyd Griffith, 30, appeared before Miami-Dade Judge Catherine Pooler Thursday.
He is accused of stealing a car from a high school parking lot and was in court for a bond hearing.
The judge turned off Griffith's microphone after he blurted out "My mom's here!" WTVJ reported.
He then began in twerk in court.
Griffith's mother, who was in court with his medication, said her son had been off his medication.
Judge Pooler was not amused with the dance. She set Griffith's bond at $18,000.
Griffith was charged with burglary and trespassing a school safety zone.
He was scheduled to appear in court again on Friday.
