HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Authorities are conducting a death investigation after a man's body was discovered in a creek in the Lakeside neighborhood in Henrico County Friday afternoon.
Henrico police officials said officers were called to the intersection of Hermitage Road and Madison Lane after someone spotted the man's body in the creek near the intersection.
The remains were transported to the Office of the Medical Examiner to how the man died.
"The victim’s identity is being withheld pending positive identification and next of kin notification," Henrico Police spokesman Lt. Chris Eley said in a news release.
