NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Shots were fired at Newport News Police headquarters early Tuesday morning.
Staff members were inside the building when those shots were fired at about 2:30 a.m., WTKR reported.

The gunfire damaged windows and the door of the building located at 9710 Jefferson Avenue.
