CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. – Two people have been seriously injured after a head-on collision between two vehicles in Chesterfield County Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened near the 15000 block of Genito Rd., between Otterdale and Woolridge Rd. That stretch of Genito was shut down while clean up was underway.
Police sources confirm to CBS 6 the victims have serious injuries and were taken to a local hospital.
A witness said he was cutting grass, with his back turned, when he heard a loud bang of the cars colliding. He said he ran over to help the victims who were conscious, talking, but did appear to have serious injuries.
