Police searching for woman wanted in Chester bank robbery

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. – Police are searching for a woman wanted for a bank robbery in Chester Thursday afternoon.

The robbery happened around 3:54 p.m. at the Bank of McKenney, located at 200 Johnson Creek Drive, according to police.

Police said the woman approached a teller, and handed her a note demanding money. After the teller complied, the suspect exited the building and was last seen walking across the parking lot.

A weapon was not displayed during the incident and no one was injured.

The suspect is described as a black female, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium build. She was seen wearing a black and red checkered shirt, dark colored pants, and sunglasses.
