CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Both the Chesterfield Health Department and a nearby construction site were the target of weekend vandals.
The damage, along the 9500 block of Lucy Corr Circle, was discovered early Monday morning.
The vandals drove a bulldozer around the construction site, striking and damaging buildings, a Chesterfield Police spokesperson said.
“The suspects attempted to enter a construction trailer, but were unsuccessful. A tractor was driven into a water-filled ditch and its windows were broken,” she continued. “Windows on other pieces of equipment were broken. The Health Department building was also damaged; a glass door, several windows and several glass ceiling panes were broken.”
Nothing has been reported stolen.
It is believed the vandalism took place between 6:40 p.m. Sunday and 5:30 a.m. Monday.
Anyone with information about the vandalism was asked to call Crimesolvers at 804-748-0660.
