RICHMOND, Va. — Pokémon Go lovers and fans of 90s nostalgia will have the opportunity to get a taste of both worlds at an upcoming event at the Richmond Coliseum.
The venue is holding a Pokémon Go event that will allow attendees to catch Pokemon and get discounted tickets for an upcoming I Love the 90s concert at the coliseum.
The Pokémon Go event will be held Wednesday, Aug. 3 from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
Pokémon lures will be placed at Richmond Coliseum for the event and I Love the 90s promo items will be given away.
To help beat the heat, free water will be available and a sweetFrog truck will sell frozen yogurt on location from 5:30-7 p.m. Richmond’s Q94 and 103.7 Play will also be on site for the event.
Attendees will receive a $10 discount on tickets to the I Love the 90s concert on Nov. 4. The I Love the 90s tour, features Vanilla Ice, Salt n Pepa, Color Me Badd, Tone Loc, Coolio and Kool Moe Dee.
