LAKE VILLA, Ill. — A pair of teenage brothers were robbed at gunpoint while playing Pokemon Go in a suburban Illinois town Thursday night.

According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Department, it happened just after 10 p.m. in the area of Morton Drive and Carol Lane in unincorporated Lake Villa.

Police say the boys saw a dark colored older model four-door parked near where they were walking. Two men, who appeared to be in their early 20s, then exited the vehicle and approached the teens. Police describe one of the men as a white male with “spikey” hair and a black male, not wearing a shirt, with dreadlocks, according to WGN.

Police say the black male displayed a firearm and took the cellphone of one of the teens. Then, the white male took the cellphone of the other teen. The men then fled in their vehicle. Neither teen was hurt.

According to the Chicago Tribune, this is believed to be the first Pokemon Go-related crime in Lake County, Ill.
