HOPEWELL, Va. — A gunman wearing a Halloween mask and single red glove robbed the 7-Eleven on Oaklawn Boulevard in Hopewell, police said. The robbery was reported at 4:27 a.m. on July 11, 7-Eleven day.
“The investigation revealed that the lone offender entered the business, brandished a black handgun and demanded money from the clerk,” a Hopewell Police spokesman said. “The offender then fled the business on foot with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.”
Police described the gunman as a 5’8″ black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweat pants, a red glove on his right hand, and a large backpack with green stripes.
