PEMBROKE, Va. — A Virginia hotel and resort is inviting you to have the time of your life this summer.
Mountain Lake Lodge in Pembroke, Virginia, 232 miles southwest of Richmond in Giles County, was the hotel where parts of the 1987 hit movie Dirty Dancing were filmed.
Three weekends each year, the hotel hosts Dirty Dancing themed getaways.
“Mountain Lake Lodge is Kellerman’s,” Heidi Stone, the hotel’s general manager, told ABC News. “It is amazing how many thousands of ‘Dirty Dancing’ fans we meet every summer. We have guests from all over the world that come to Mountain Lake Lodge just for the Dirty Dancing Weekends. It tends to be a popular ‘girls’ getaway’ weekend, but we do see some husbands and boyfriends from time to time.”

August 26-28
“Cost depends on accommodations and whether or not you want to include meals,” a hotel spokesperson posted on Facebook.
